Deion Sanders said it best: “If you look good, you feel good. If you feel good, you play good. If you play good, they pay good.” That’s exactly what comes to mind the moment I came across this new colorway of the adidas Originals Streetball. adidas is continuing its homage to ’90s-era sneaker design as they have just decided to revive the cult-classic Streetball model with a modern reconstruction. Releasing soon, here’s a good look at this new colorway of the adidas Originals Streetball.
What make this 2019 version differ from the OG pair from 1993? For starters, it comes with Lightstrike cushioning that results in explosive, dynamic speed. In addition, the basketball sneaker also comes with additional padding and support around the achilles and a rubber outsole treaded for outdoor courts. The construction of the sneaker consists of a combination of rough and smooth suede, leather, mesh and neoprene. Keeping ’90s aesthetics alive, the ’90s “STREETBALL” tongue patch remains in play.
This iteration of the adidas Originals Streetball comes dressed in a bold Flame Orange/Solar Orange/Core black color scheme, making it almost impossible to miss you on the court, ha!
Slated to make its debut on August 10th for $119, look for this new colorway of the adidas Originals Streetball at select adidas retailers such as SNS. Speaking of adidas Basketball sneakers, how many of you are looking forward to the adidas D.O.N. Issue #1 Mailman?
