Universal Works Spring/Summer 2016 Collection
For Spring/Summer 2016 Universal Works presents a British take on both the classic and the contemporary. The label continues their honest approach to simple and timeless clothing.
For this particular season, they explored a range of influences as diverse as Wes Anderson films, mid-20th-century textile design, and Edwardian floor tiles. The collection basically shows contemporary interpretations of these diverse ideas.
Subtly patterned fabrics, seasonal geometric patterns, tonally over dyed scout style patches and a tonal color palette with bright contrasts are all key to these seasons’ pieces.
