Though adidas promises a return of the NMD, there’s more to come for 2017. The brand’s BOOST midsole is a big part of its recent streak.

So, it isn’t too much of a surprise to see it on yet another model. The adidas Iniki Runner BOOST takes some new to the old.

This sneaker is equal parts nostalgia and modern details. The upper is one collective shoutout to the 80’s, sporting a canvas upper.

We also see leather accents via the Three Stripes branding and smooth overlays as well. The choice of materials is reminiscent of adidas runners from back in the day.

But, while you wait for the next NMD drop, the modernized shape and plush midsole make this a good alternative. The adidas Iniki Runner BOOST drops March 1st in both Collegiate Navy and Red colorways.
