adidas Originals goes back to Memphis
adidas Originals pays a due tribute to the post-modern collective the ‘Memphis Group’ with its set of ZX silhouettes. A total of four ZX models celebrate the uniqueness and the creativity of the artistic set.
It was in 1981 that designer Ettore Sottsass, alongside a collective of designers and architects founded the ‘Memphis Group’. During six years, the group presented pieces of furniture with a plentiful colorful décor and with a clear retro inspiration.
adidas celebrates the Memphis Group
In 2014 the brand with the three stripes determined that it is time again to celebrate the work of Memphis with the release of the ZX 9000, the ZX 8000, the ZX 7000 and the ZX 5000. The four sneakers definitely show that there is no such thing as a limit to creativity and to the surfaces where it can be materialized.
The adidas Originals ZX ‘Memphis Pack’ can now be found at 43einhalb.
