2021 has been a grand year for adidas. The Ultra Boost dropped in its ’21 iteration, the Yeezy series produced croc-like footwear fueled behind insane hype, their classic sneakers have made a return in popularity, etc. In their latest work with their Y-3 division, adidas has reworked the definition of a premium leather sneaker with the adidas Y-3 Hicho.
This iteration of the Hicho features an almost Superstar-like silhouette, albeit with a platform base. A slightly off-white tinted leather constructs the upper, which is then complimented by a set of white laces. Slight accents of black are seen on the Y-3 branding and the heel. Underfoot, the sneaker sits atop a platform sole.
