The adidas Yeezy 500 has seen a quiet year and a half, having not released in an OG colorway since November 2019. With Yeezy focusing more on the 350 V2, 700, 380, and QNTM silhouettes, fans have questioned when the chunky profiled pair would ever release. Finally, the latest 500 in a colorful “Enflame” colorway has been announced for official release.
Looking at this Yeezy 500, it largely differs from its predecessors. Most of the previous colorways were monochromatic, which can be seen in the popular “Stone,” “Utility Black,” and “Salt” iterations. However, this “Enflame” iteration features a vibrant orange sole, a brown mesh upper, blue overlays, and green suede. Underfoot, AdiPrene technology ensures a comfortable ride with every step.
Expect the adidas Yeezy 500 “Enflame” to arrive sometime this April 2021 on adidas.com for $200. As usual, make sure to keep a tab open for Cult Edge for all of your sneaker updates.
In other sneaker news, the Air Jordan 1 Low “Neutral Grey” has just been announced for a spring time release.
