Jordan Brand is set to drop this brand new colorway of the Air Jordan 4 in a few days. Officially listed (by Nike) as the Air Jordan 4 Lucid Green, the streets have also dubbed them the Air Jordan 4 Carnival as well as the Air Jordan 4 Rasta.
The Air Jordan 4 Rasta starts off with a clean White tumbled leather upper. What really sets this pair apart from other offerings of the classic Air Jordan model are the color-shifting hits noted on the mesh on the side panels. Done in Yellow, Green and Red, the trio of colors result in giving the shoe a bit of rasta and irie vibes. Got any reggae fans out these? This is the Air Jordan 4 you.
The same trio of colors is noted on the tongue netting, while Yellow takes care of the insoles and hits of Green are found on the tongue lining and outsole. Giving the shoe a bit of Air Jordan 4 White cement vibes are the White cement hits noted on part of the midsole and heel tab. Black hits on the eyelets, laces, lining and tongue tag round out the main features of the shoe. Jumpman branding hits land on both the heel tab and tongue tags.
Although officially listed as a women’s-exclusive colorway, the Air Jordan 4 Lucid Green will release in extended sizes, meaning that people who wear up to a size 15 men will be able to pick up a pair.
Retailing for $190, the Air Jordan 4 Lucid Green will be making its debut at select retailers and Nike.com beginning April 16th. With Spring in full-effect and Summer being right around the corner, this is definitely a clean pair to pick up. How many of you will be adding these to your weekly sneaker rotation?
Being that this release is “technically” a women’s-exclusive Air Jordan 4, how does it stack up against the women’s-exclusive Air Jordan 4 Mushroom?
