Hanon and ASICS celebrate 25 years of the GL3
Fresh off the back of their recent collaboration with a two pair pack with Puma, Aberdeen’s finest Hanon is back. This time they collaborated with ASICS Tiger as part of the brand’s 25th anniversary of the Gel Lyte III silhouette.
For this silver milestone, Hanon and ASICS have continued their night sky and astronomical theme. The “Solstice” is unveiled in blue azure suede and plush purple nubuck in similar colour blocking as their previous Gel Lyte III.
This time they have added a bespoke perforation to the vamp with a tonal 3M underlay. The shoes also feature reflective tiger stripes another homage to the “Wildcats”.
With more night themed features shown by way of the frosted blue outsoles. Hanon doffs their cap to their Scottish roots with the addition of the Celtic knot and flame print featured on the shoe collar lining.
Further nice details include woven laces, the dual-branded tongue patch, printed insoles and Hanon “fire logo” embossed on the heel. Every pair from Hanon will come with 3 lace sets and custom-made box.
