Hanon and Le Coq Sportif collaborate again
Hanon are back fresh from their “Solstice” collab with ASICS Tiger, this time reworking the R1000 from French Originators Le Coq Sportif. Nicknamed the “French Jersey”, Hanon have applied a rich cotton jersey fabric to the liner and tongues.
It serves as an homage to Le Coq’s rich heritage in manufacturing sports apparel. Removing all synthetics and rubber components, the shoe has been stripped back in favor of a rich pigskin nubuck and closed mesh on the uppers.
Unveiled in a Brick Red and Vibrant Orange colourway, further attention to detail can be seen via the jersey-inspired laces, nubuck tongue patch, bar tack detailing and laminated calfskin footbed. The Le Coq rooster logo is embossed on the medial side of the shoe, while the Hanon flame logo appears on the heel. Each pair will come with 3 sets of laces and special dual branded box.
The in-store launch will take place at Hanon where you will also be able to pick up some exclusive dual branded tees.
The online allocated pairs will retail set at £100UKP (approximately $152 USD).
