J.W. Anderson x UNIQLO FW17 Collection is here
J.W. Anderson x UNIQLO is now available. J.W. Anderson and UNIQLO get together for a surprising collection. This is quite an unexpected collaboration, nevertheless, it surprised us in a very positive way.
J.W. Anderson endorses his own brand but goes a step forward in 2013 by being nominated Creative Director of the Spanish high-end brand, Loewe. Needless to say much about UNIQLO due to their past collaborations (i.e. Kaws) and impact worldwide.
The Fall / Winter collection isn’t huge (33 pieces) but every single item pays great attention to detail. It also reveals quite a broad approach from bag-packs to scarfs, from jackets to flannel button-up shirts.
Britain meets Japan
This is where British design meets Japanese manufacture. In addition, Anderson adds that «For me, the point of doing this collaboration was that I believe in democracy in fashion, and what I hope will be achieved is that any age demographic can pick up and find something within the collection to relate to. Doing something with UNIQLO is very interesting. It means you come up with a wardrobe which is universal and quirky». Don’t worry, your wallets will not suffer much.
Prices range from £15 to £90. All the collection is now available to buy right here. Quality made affordable? Let us know what you think.
