KITH, through the creative direction of streetwear icon Ronnie Fieg, has positioned themselves as one of the leading brands within the space. In large part, collaborations with footwear brands have catapulted the brand’s reputation. Continuing their hot streak in 2021, KITH has added their creative efforts to the New Balance RC_1300 “Mauve.”
New Balance is no stranger to the spotlight, capturing the previous year with beloved silhouettes like the 992 and collaborations with Joe FreshGoods. In this joint effort between the New York City streetwear brand and the Boston-based sportswear brand, the RC_1300 is given a deep burgundy upper, with white accents appearing throughout the sneaker’s profile. Most notably, KITH’s stamp of approval is seen along the “N” branding and the Pegasus-like figure on the toe, in addition to the “KITH” and “FIEG” lettering embossed to the heel.
