Maison Kitsuné is all about love this season
Maison Kitsuné Fall/Winter 2016 “Love Rises” collection pays homage to its Japanese heritage. With the aesthetic and dreamscape created by Hayao Miyazaki in the acclaimed, animated film “The Wind Rises”, the collection takes off for distant shores in 1930s aviary fashion.
The men’s collection introduces Japanese silhouettes, comfortable, cool and elegant. In a combination of daring colors and motifs, patchwork furthers the palette for an exciting, juxtaposed effect.
The fabric choices include cotton and flannel as you’d expect. There are also some highlights of broadcloth and velvet.
And there’s a good level of playfulness seen throughout the collection. Therefore the bright colors, patchwork, and camouflage all make for a cohesive lineup.
