A celebration of color: New Balance 247 x PHANTACi
PHANTACi, the Taiwanese streetwear giant joins forces with New Balance to create a Friends & Family release of the 247. New Balance doesn’t stop surprising us all along 2017.
From collaborations with Ronnie Fieg and Stance to GRs celebrating Flimby’s 35th anniversary, the Boston brand just keeps on delivering. NB has been releasing fresh takes of some of their most iconic silhouettes and at the same time developing new ones just like the 574S or even the 247.
Using a full-white base for the upper, the sky is the limit when it comes to imagination, so they have decided to use astronomical and galactic components for its design. Those same components are seen on heel, ankle, and vamp, as well as an engineered mesh for extra flexibility and breathability across the upper.
To top it all off, allowing your feet to remain snug and comfortable, the pair sits on NB’s signature REVlite midsole and has a sock-like lining. You won’t be able to buy these as they are F&F, but we are sure once they are given out, we may see a few pairs floating around the web.
