New Balance 999 gets Deconstructed
In terms of colorways, none are as popular with New Balance fans as Blue and Grey. Although it doesn’t sport Navy, the latest New Balance 999 model does fit the proverbial bill.
Here, we see the 90’s runner stripped down. The upper features leather construction and perforations. We also see NB’s REVLite cushioning, housed in a thick White midsole.
Stitched details on the branding and heel give off a premium aesthetic. Meanwhile, a classic rubber outsole finishes off the look.
Though it doesn’t boast the “Made in USA” distinction, this model proves capable. Equal parts form and function, the 999 is a commendable section of New Balance’s respected history.
