Is The Nike Air Fear Of God 1 Amarillo The Best Colorway Of The Model Yet?

By show of hands, how many of you are a fan of the the Jerry Lorenzo designed Nike Air Fear Of God 1 silhouette? The hefty price tag along with the unconventional style of the silhouette kind of make this basketball shoe an acquired taste, if you will. That said, the next colorway to release is slated to be the Nike Air Fear Of God 1 Amarillo. Official images have released, so let’s get a closer look.

The Nike Air Fear Of God 1 Amarillo was already previewed in the past but not until recently has it been confirmed that it would release. Utilizing the perfect color for the Summer time, this iteration of the model comes dressed in an Amarillo shade of Yellow all throughout the upper.

More of the same hue is then found on the cage overlay, laces, inner liner, and the zipper on the heel. Tonal Nike branding is spotted on the heels, while a White Swoosh can be seen on the lateral side panel. Below you will find  a White rubber sole unit with icy blue detailing.

While there is still no release date attached to the Nike Air Fear Of God 1 Amarillo, Jerry Lorenzo did announce on his Instagram that the shoe will be releasing some time in July. Retail is once again expected to be $350. Is this a cop or a pass?

If dropping $350 on a pair of basketball sneakers is too much for your blood, you can never go wrong with picking up the latest colorway of the iconic Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG in Gym Red.
