The brand new Nike SB Bruin High is ladies only
Nike SB Bruin High is here. Nike’s skateboarding division continues innovating. For now, they went a step further by showing us a skate-shoe that is specifically designed for women.
Pro Nike SB skateboarder Lacey Baker states that she “used to look up how to modify my shoes online so I could make them fit better… I would put frozen plastic bags inside my shoes or spray them with water to stretch them out and make them feel like they were better molded to my feet”.
Those times are now long gone as the Nike SB Bruin High has all the needed specs for women’s feet. Baker further added that “the most important thing for me in footwear is a balance of durability, board feel, snugness and support”, as seen in this silhouette.
Due to its characteristic fit, altogether with the tri-star pattern on footbed, this skate shoe promises to deliver less weight and increased flexibility. The Nike SB Bruin High will be released on October 5 on Nike’s website, App and select retailers.
