Norse Projects and New Balance are at it once again
The Rainier is the subject of the Norse Projects x New Balance Danish Weather Pack 2.0. After a solid effort with the NB 1500, the Danish brand now takes on a much less popular model
As with the 2013 release of the 1500 model, this collaborative Rainier features durable materials. A combination of nubuck and Gore-Tex prepare these uppers for the harsh winters.
We also see this 1980’s shoe stick to its original Vibram outsole, while EVA fills out the midsole. Originally released as a trail runner, this edition of the Rainier stays true to that via an abrasive rubber toe-box and Nylon ripstop.
The color schemes here take inspiration from Denmark’s shoreline during winter. Available now, you can find the Norse Projects x New Balance Danish Weather Pack 2.0 online.
