The Off-White x Nike Air VaporMax “BLACK”, the latest outcome of the striking collaboration project between Virgil Abloh and Nike is here. Enduring his intense and super hyped releases such as “The Ten” collaboration with Nike, the Off-White founder has just unveiled the latest trick up his sleeve.
2018 now welcomes the Nike Vapormax Flyknit “Black”, just after Virgil Abloh recently being appointed as the Artistic Director at Louis Vuitton menswear.
Innovation made style: “REINVENTION”
After months of online teasers, we can now confirm that the silhouette sits on top of a translucent full-air midsole and features the same industrial look from its earlier collaboration. The Off-White x Nike Vapormax Flyknit also displays a black swoosh that fully matches with its blacked-out knit upper with suede overlay accents.
While small orange details are seen, as required, the shoe also features a red zip-tie and brandings on each medial side. Delivered in an inverted Nike SW box, each pair shall be handed with a set of blue extra laces.
Surely Nike and the man himself came to the conclusion that these deconstructed collaborations are the way to go, showing no signs of slowing down.
