Puma and Staple together again
Though Puma is hitting plenty of home runs nowadays in terms of sponsor signings, it’s some of their longer running partners that continue to thrill us. Jeff Staple has been producing hit after Puma hit in a lengthy string of solid collaborations.
Now, the designer takes his vision to arguably the OG of Puma OG’s, the Clyde. The first signature sneaker to be endorsed by a pro basketball player, the Clyde gets the full Staple work-up here.
The upper is adorned with a premium coating of soft suede. The choice to go with Grey here is an interesting one, as it’s one of the color schemes that really shows off the texture of suede.
We also see a vivid contrast by way of a bright Pink inner lining. The same loud hue sits on more subtle positions on the shoe’s heel and branding hints. Here’s to yet another gem from one of the most underrated long-time partnerships in the game!
