Sporty End Of Season: New Balance 574S

    New Balance 574S

The New Balance 574S is all about sports, therefore the ‘S’ – as standing for sports. This updated version of the classic NB574 is (as the brand says) created for a new generation.

The model is a “Sport” iteration of the original 574, and (we can safely say) a much better one. Just for starters, New Balance decided to release this monochromatic drop in mint and burgundy.

The New Balance 574 Sport features a ‘high tech’ mesh upper, suede overlays, and also geometric accents appearing on the midsole. The main purpose here is to bring the NB574 into the 21st century, delivering it with a one of a kind update.

Additional features include a fresh foam midsole that guarantees additional support. The New Balance 574S is a shoe ready for almost anything, especially due to its extreme lightweight.

These New Balance 574 Sport will release first online at New Balance, and in North America. Europe will have to wait another month before it hits the shelves.

    The Iconic New Balance 574

The New Balance 574 was born a hybrid. In fact, the 574 was created as the perfect combination between the 575 and the 576 models that already existed. The fact is that as soon as it was released it became an instant hit.

Surprising enough, New Balance didn’t do any promotion of the shoe itself, leaving it behind in all advertising campaigns. The NB 574 truly became a shoe of the people, they were the ones choosing it on the store’s shelves.

The New Balance 574 simply had an appealing shape, simple yet attractive. Another important detail was the array of colorways that the brand presented, it seems there was one for each and every fan.

As with almost every New Balance shoe, the main idea of the brand behind the creation of the classic New Balance 574 was to provide comfort. The fact is that more than 30 years later, the New Balance 574S perpetuates that legacy the best way possible.
