Autumn vibes with the Nike Air Huarache Run PRM Wheat
The Nike Air Huarache Run PRM Wheat is perhaps our first look into the Fall season of major releases. As usual, the colder months are a golden time for sneaker heat. Each Fall season sees major brands take on some of the bulkier forms and thicker cuts of premium materials.
This release of the Air Huarache is no different. On this drop, we see the Wheat colour scheme executed flawlessly thanks to the considerate use of materials. The base on this model is in a lush cut of nubuck. Overlaying this are select sections of suede.
The use of nubuck on Fall releases isn’t a major stray for Nike. This selection of a base layer is a standard option when it starts to get cold. Nubuck is quite resistant to water damage and boasts some impressive insulation properties. Beyond that, it’s simply cozy and effective.
The overlays of suede are also a pretty standard inclusion here considering the season. Along with the nubuck base, suede has fantastic warmth and insulation properties. It’s also one of those materials that work well as a premium option.
This Wheat colourway comes with the addition of two main contrasts. The heel caging is the more subtle aspect, comprising the shoe’s section in Black. Meanwhile, the midsole is in a crisp White hue.
Perhaps the most interesting element here is the fluent use of this Wheat colourway. The execution on the more premium details is one thing. But, the colour’s beautiful finish on the nylon inner bootie adds some interesting depth.
