The Best Asics Sneakers Available to Buy Now:

AFEW x ASICS Gel Lyte III “Koi”

You can say whatever you want, literally. This pair is awesome and one of the most coveted out of the 25th Anniversary, if not the most coveted.

Once they released in 2015, the world went nuts. The “Koi” represents the History of the Japan Day, featuring quite a few details that gather inspiration from the Koi fish itself.

The in-store release was delivered with a special wooden box, a booklet, and AFEW x ASICS chopsticks as well as 2 pairs of extra laces (Wasabi & Soy Sauce). There are only 1991 pairs available worldwide.

Hanon x ASICS Gel Lyte III “Wildcats”

Released in 2011, this silhouette is inspired by The Wildcats, a local running club. Some say that the materials used were not that great, but that does not stop them from having astronomical resell prices.

The “Wildcats” from Hanon display a classic orange and red colored upper with additional 3M Toger Stripes and double woven labels on the tongue. For last but not least, this Gel Lyte III is delivered in a dust bag featuring Hanon’s “Keeps On Burning”.

mita x ASICS Gel-Mai “Black Panther”

These are without any doubts one of the most underplayed collaborations we have seen in a while. Clean, these Gel-Mai displays a blacked-out upper altogether with a tonal cheetah printed pattern right under its suede cage.

Sporting white tiger stripes, its TPU collar system provides just the right amount of on-feet support.

We sure know that the Mai is not everyone’s favorite. Will it always be an underdog? Learn more about this collab right here.

WMNS ASICS Gel Lyte III “Cherry Clossom”

It’s a shame that some big-footers will stay out for this one. Not every single awesome release needs to be a collab and exclusive – trust us, you will start to agree with that over time.

These “Cherry Blossom” are throwing it way back to the 90’s, maintaining their signature color blocking across the upper.

The name says it all. Inspired by cherry blossoms, the silhouette displays a perforated suede upper and of course, being a Gel Lyte III, its signature split-tongue is also present, also perforated. They will sell out, eventually.

Designed to defeat any brisk conditions, the Gel Lyte MT is built using a technical inner-bootie sock liner, heel pull tab, and trail-like outsole.

Celebrating Woei’s fifth anniversary (in 2012), this Gel Lyte III draws inspiration from the deer family found in Europe’s harsh tundra region, hence the colorway – brown, tan and white.

The whole shoe has been re-designed, replacing the standard upper eyelets with metal trail hooks, zigzag stitching around the toe box area and to finish off some 3M details. Quite a pair, we say!

    The Best Asics Collaborations

It is a shame that we have not heard much about ASICS since 2015. It hurts us to say that, but the ASICS Gel Lyte III 25th Anniversary was the very last time that the brand made a real buzz across the sneaker community around the globe.

Apart from the Anniversary collaborations, before and after, there are quite a few pairs that deserve to be mentioned. It is unfortunate what you may have to spent to get your hands on a specific pair, but that is just how the sneaker world works.

As usual, creating a Top 20 of a brand like ASICS is difficult. Considering all the top iterations (like the familiar Asics Gel Lyte III Suede), not to mention all the great collaborations that have been released in recent times.

Please bear in mind that the best ASICS Gel Lyte (and not only!) collaborations available now will be available on online shops like Klekt and also Flight Club. You can always check Facebook groups or identical network systems for better prices, but we rather make sure you buy safely.
