The best Ronnie Fieg collaborations
Were you looking for the ultimate list of the best Ronnie Fieg collaborations? Totally updated with some of the best kicks the designer has ever created? If so, you’re in the right place.
#1 Ronnie Fieg for David Z x Asics GT Quick
Ronnie Fieg and David Z have collaborated and worked on this particular release. After digging into the archives, the GT Quick was the chosen silhouette for this particular drop.
Even today, the shoe does not get enough love, but we believe these, in particular, are quite awesome. Black, purple and blue were the chosen colors and was launched together with Complex.
Nowadays, it is not an expensive pair to buy within the resell community, it is just very hard to find.
#2 Ronnie Fieg x Culture Shoq x Asics Gel Lyte III
Limited to 190 pairs for men and 24 for the ladies, the Culture Shoq Gel Lyte III blends three mains colors – white, black and purple. They were not everyone’s favorite back in the day, and nowadays the same opinion is shared.
Even though we fell in love with it, details are seen in the perforated toe box and 3M details. In addition, you can find out more about this sneaker right here.
#3 Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Lyte III “Cove”
In a Caribbean photo-shoot, Ronnie Fieg has decided to show us his “Cove” version of the Gel Lyte III, inspired by a secret getaway spot in the Bahamas. Limited to 255 pairs in the world, these joints are one of the most sought-after GL3 from the one and only. As known, later on, a Gel Lyte V iteration was set to be released.
#4 Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Lyte III “Super Blue”
New York retailer David Z received, yet again, another collaboration by Ronnie Fieg – the Super Blue. The Gel Lyte III comes in grey hues, contrasting with blue on side panels and laces.
This pair, in particular, was limited to 252 units. It is not an impossible pair to find on the resell market, but be prepared to pay at least an arm and a leg for them.
#5 Adidas x Ronnie Fieg Metro Attitude High “Overcast”
Most probably you have never heard of this collaboration. It’s okay, the release was rather quiet on this one. The adidas Metro Attitude Hi “Overcast” is built using premium materials (high-grade nubuck and tumbled leather as well as micro-perforated leather).
Back then, you could flex amongst friends with lace options (lime green, grey, and a lace that fades from dark navy to white). Details are seen on insoles – R4D AKA Ronnie for David Z. Limited to 250 pairs, these were exclusively found at David Z’s website.
#6 Nice Kicks x Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Lyte III “2.0”
These Gel Lyte III designed by Ronnie Fieg has a grey monochromatic buttery suede upper and were limited to 300 pairs worldwide. Plain and simple, just how we like it.
However, it is almost impossible to find a pair in deadstock condition – well, if you find one, we hope you have your credit card ready!
#7 Ronnie Fieg x Red Wing 6″ “Navy Ash” 875 Boots
Not everything should be about sneakers. Ronnie has also collaborated with Red Wing and these are our favorites. The Ashy Navy 6″ released in Autumn of 2009 and were built using navy distressed leather.
For the time, this was quite an expensive item, priced at $250.
#8 Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel-Lyte III “Navy Aqua”
Dubbed the “Navy Aqua”, this iteration of the Gel Lyte III was sold exclusively at David Z and the pairs limited to 252 units. The mesh on the toebox allows the silhouette a retro look.
The white laces make it all pop even more due to its dark upper altogether with white details on the tiger stripes and midsole.
#9 Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Lyte III “Salmon Toe”
The Salmon Toe was the first “important” release in Kith NYC. Once they released, the pair came in a wooden and engraved special box. There are rumors stating that 70 pairs were produced – of which only 40 were numbered for collecting purposes.
Thirty-two of those pairs came with the normal Asics box. This is the most sought after Gel Lyte III of all times, we believe, even thou a second Made in Japan version was released recently, with a few different details.
#10 Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Lyte III “Super Green”
Officially, the Super Green OG never hit retailers. 300 pairs were produced with the intention of being donated through Soles 4 Soles to Haiti residents. Even though that was the plan, we can see a few pairs floating around the Internet for crazy amounts of money.
A few years later, we came across a Made in Japan version, but you know how it works – the OG will always be the OG.
#11 Ronnie Fieg x Asics GT-II “Ultra Marine”
The GTII is most probably, the most underrated commercial silhouette ever to be produced by Asics. Loved by many and unknown to others, the “Ultra Marine” was released back in 2011.
The shoe displays a vibrant-colored upper built with premium pigskin nubuck with marine-inspired details at the tiger stripes.
#12 Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Lyte III “Flamingo”
The Flamingo is one of the all-time favorite colorways of the Gel Lyte III created by Mr. Fieg. Premium Nubuck, mesh toebox and an awesome colorway. What else can you ask for?
#13 Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Lyte III “Knicks”
Inspired by NBA team “Knicks”, the New York City iteration mixes royal blue and orange colors for the upper built using premium nubuck. Even though this pack was released together with the “Miami Beach”, we truly believe that the “Knicks” stand out the most.
They were released back in 2013 and were available to purchase in a limited time pop-up shop in Miami and thereafter, at Manhattan and Brooklyn flagships.
#14 Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Lyte III “Mint Leaf”
Inspired by Ronnie’s childhood spent with his grandparents in Zichron Yaakov, a small town in Israel, this collaboration translates to love and family tradition. Sitting on a grey outsole, the “Mint Leaf” upper contrasts in such a great way.
This iteration of the Gel Lyte III was released for men and women (size run: US4.5 – US13)
#15 Ronnie Fieg By Sebago x Theophilus London Penny Loafer
You weren’t expecting these! Ronnie Fieg was in the Dominican Republic working on his S/S12 collection and Theophilus was there for a concert. He passed by Sebago’s factory in Santa Domingo and there it started.
Representing Theo unique style and a current state of mind, nothing better than a classic Penny. This pair is a 1-of-1 and was made with Jet-Black 2H premium suede and black patent leather, altogether with the traditional Sebago’s leather sole.
#16 Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Saga “Manzarine”
Ronnie Fieg said that this special colorway for the “Manzarine” took a while to be on point. However, quality leather and an awesome colorway was the final result.
These Gel Saga were limited to 300 pairs worldwide and released together with a 26OZ Canadian Fleece Made in USA Letterman Varsity Jacket.
#17 Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Saga “Neptune”
Once again, the New York designer and Kith owner Ronnie Fieg released another Gel Saga. Slate grey is the main hue found on the nubuck upper, featuring white and blue accents.
Details are seen on the lavender lining, something that you may not notice at first glance. This pair was considered a Kithstrike.
#18 Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Lyte III “Leather Back”
The “Leather Back” seem quite obvious, at least when it comes to the construction of these Gel Lyte III. Black is the predominant color, while details are seen in close-to-turquoise color on the tiger stripes and outsole.
It finishes off with a dark grey perforated suede toebox.
#19 Ronnie Fieg x Asics GTII “Rose Gold”
Almost two years went by since Ronnie thought about this colorway. Inspired by an old photo that he took, the “Rose Gold” features a pigskin upper, nubuck tiger stripes and a perforated tongue and toebox. Contrasting with its white midsole, you can find a cinder-ish outsole and blue accents on the woven label and around the Asics stripes.

The New Balance 1600 “Daytona” are inspired by Ronnie’s trips to Daytona Beach in Florida. Micro-perforated leathers are seen throughout the whole shoe.
The details are just immense altogether with an ABZORB midsole adding high shock absorption and comfort when on feet. To top it all off, 3M details are seen in white, pink and ultramarine, coinciding with the three lace options.
#21 Ronnie Fieg x Clarks Kildare
Ronnie created, yet again, something totally original. These Clarks Kildare have a trainer upper placed on top of a crepe sole, keeping Clark’s DNA intact. The upper is made from water-resistant pigskin suede, perfect for rainy April – the month they were released.
#22 Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Lyte V “Volcano”
“To help reflect Kith’s current state of growing not only as a shop but now as a full on brand, I felt ready to create a shoe that was inspired by Kith growing out of its ‘active stage’ and hopefully to its future state of eruption” – those are Ronnie’s words.
Featuring a pink-ish neoprene tongue with matching details on the side panel, the upper mixes red-hues made from premium nubuck, pigskin, and mesh.
These are one of the most sought-after models of the Gel Lyte V ever to be produced. Later on, Mr. Fieg released the Volcano 2.0 collection.
#23 Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Lyte III “Total Eclipse”
The “Total Eclipse” is quite a discrete pair, however, fierce when on feet. The toe box is jet-black leather altogether with navy nubuck on the upper, contrasting with red accents.
The silhouette sits on a white midsole. As the name says, this pair resembles and simulates a total eclipse.
#24 Ronnie Fieg x Puma Disc Blaze “Coat Of Arms”
Ronnie Fieg started collaborating with Puma in 2012. After the release of the “OG Cove”, the COA comes to life in two different colorways – Mint and Coral. Both display pebbled black leather, brushed nubuck, premium leather, 3M brandings and 3M speckled midsoles.
Two colorways were released, however, our favorite remains the “Mint” pair. Apart from KITH, these sneakers could be purchased in Men’s Fashion Week in Paris. Find out a bit more right here.
#25 Ronnie Fieg x Pony M-110
Product of New York AKA PONY joined forces with Ronnie Fieg during 2012 to create a hi-top sneaker made from thick red Italian leather with snakeskin-stamped pattern details altogether with tonal laces. This particular launch was released with custom packaging, a leather dust bag as well as custom engraved wooden shoe trees and shoehorn. Limited to 500 pairs worldwide, each individually numbered on the white liner.

This Buscemi 100mm sneaker is unisex and handcrafted in Italy. The upper is made from un-dyed veg-tan calfskin leather with a vachetta leather liner and footbed.
As expected, these aren’t cheap – the 18k rose gold plated hardware was made specifically for this release. The pair is delivered with a screwdriver for easily removable access and would set you back $800.
#27 Ronnie Fieg x Puma RF698 Mid “Sakura”
After all, we know these don’t get much love. However, we somehow like them very much. The whole upper is perforated with details in nubuck and pigskin.
Utilizing burgundy as the main color, the toebox is contrasted by a dark navy finish. The Trinomic midsole displays some faded-effects altogether with speckles.
#28 Ronnie Fieg x New Balance 1300 “Salmon Sole”
Unfortunately, we don’t get to see many New Balance 1300. Amongst a few very good ones, we have the “Salmon Sole” that dropped in Fall of 2012.
A simple yet effective navy colorway is present across the upper, while details are seen in the white lining and midsole. The sole is salmon, as stated by the sneaker’s nickname.
#29 Ronnie Fieg x Asics “Kith Football Equipment” Pack
Paying tribute to the World Cup in Brazil and after a very successful pop-up shop in Brazil, the “KFE Pack” are displayed in a way that represents both nations that took drawing inspiration for the creation of the Gel Lyte III and the GTII: USA and Brazil.
We know they are not everyone’s cup of tea, but both pairs played a big role when it comes to footwear once they were released. We won’t surprise you here – we just love the gold Gel Lyte III!
#30 Ronnie Fieg x Slam Jam x Diadora RF7000 “Primo”
Ronnie Fieg joined forces with Slam Jam and Diadora to produce a classic V7000 silhouette. The “Primo” displays a unique asymmetrical leather toebox and the colors used are considered to be a deviation of the Italian flag.
In addition, the upper is built using pebbled nubuck, full grain leather, and pigskin suede while the inner liner uses cow leather and custom-debossed insoles.
#31 Ronnie Fieg x Asics GT Cool Express “Sterling”
The GT Cool Express, in general, is a model that does not break necks, however, we do feel slightly inclined to like this one. The “Sterling” was released under the radar, somehow, and unfortunately, we don’t get to see many around.
The silhouette features a pigskin suede sterling blue toebox with small salmon details. In addition, the heel combines hues of beige altogether with a white midsole.
#32 Ronnie Fieg x Bape “Fiegstas”
The “Fiegstas” are handmade in Portugal featuring a premium suede upper, sitting on top of a rubber white midsole while asymmetrical co-branding is seen on heel tab as well as on the insoles.
The pair is delivered in a custom branded box with special shoe-trees and dustbag.
#33 Ronnie Fieg x New Balance 997.5 “Cyclades”
Being the first individual person to collaborate on a New Balance 997.5, the Cyclades was inspired by a luxurious resort in Mykonos. The orange toebox represents the sun-umbrellas, the beige midfoot resembles the sand while de aqua-green displays the waters of the Aegean Sea.
In addition, the upper is built using premium pigskin suede with 3M details while sitting on a 998 ABZORB midsole.
#34 Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Lyte III “Homage”
As seen throughout the years, Ronnie likes to work on the Gel Lyte III. Paying homage to his long-lasting business relationship with Asics, the “Homage” pays tribute to 13 of his past creations.
We know it is a difficult pair to wear, no doubt, and some only have them as a collector’s item, but this iteration truly shows the amount of work, passion, and imagination that Fieg has put into his works with Asics, being part of the 25th Anniversary of the Gel Lyte III.
#35 Ronnie Fieg x adidas Consortium Response Trail Boost
When the adidas Response Trail Boost was released, it was an instant hit. Different from what we are used to, this silhouette represents the evolution of trail shoes, merging its technical qualities with lifestyle visuals.
The upper features a mesh vamp altogether with a neoprene collar with premium tumbled nubuck overlays. In between so many details, we can add that the Continental outsole takes inspiration from the Trail King bike tires, creating extreme grip in all weather conditions.
#36 Ronnie Fieg x Diadora Intrepid “From Seoul To Rio”
Yet again, (if you look back at the KFE Pack) Ronnie Fieg took inspiration from Sports – but in this case, from the Olympics. Part of the “From Seoul to Rio” initiative, this iconic 80s silhouette displays hues of teal, orange, navy, and pink.
The upper features rugged pebbled nubuck with a lush pigskin suede toebox. 500 pairs were launched globally.
#37 Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Diablo “Volcano 2.0”
This Gel Diablo marks the first-ever collaboration on such silhouette. Originally released in 1995 and released in many colorways straight after, this shoe created quite a buzz, even for sneakerheads that have never heard of the shoe.
This pair, in particular, was Made in Japan and, as trends are sifting, bulky midsoles are back in fashion – this release totally and silhouette matches the current likes of Instagram influencers.
#38 Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Lyte III “Militia”
Years have passed since we have seen an iteration of the Gel Lyte III named “Mossad”. However, Ronnie made all sneakerhead’s wishes come true and released a very similar colorway dubbed “Militia”.
The pair is dressed in premium olive green premium nubuck and pigskin suede. This was an instant sell out and reached crazy resell prices as soon as they were launched.
We should add that before the pair was released, there was a giveaway together with Nice Kicks of the original pair. Yes, a release of a 1-of-1 pair.
#39 Ronnie Fieg x Filling Pieces “RF-Mid”
Joining forces with Amsterdam-based Filling Pieces, Fieg created a new silhouette named “RF-Mid”, featuring a full nubuck upper and KITH brandings on the tongue while Fieg’s brandings are on the heels.
Out of the two released colorways, we came to the conclusion that the wheat one is the best. The whole Filling Pieces range is Made in Portugal.
#40 Ronnie Fieg x Nike Air Maestro II
For last but not least, and in celebration of KITH Sports launch, we need to include the Nike Air Maestro II High. This silhouette, in particular, was worn by Scottie Pippen before he received his first signature shoe.
A handful of colorways should be released, but our favorite is the purple, no doubt!
